Added BTA and closes up when light comes on

So I added a green BTA yesterday. When the lights go out, it opens up and stretches out. When the light comes on, it shrivels up and goes back into it's hole.

I got a pair of red sea 90w lights in a 90 gallon tank. I got the light turned down to 75% to acclimate it.

Calcium is at 400
Alkalinity is at 9
My salinity is a little low, currently a little below 1.023.
Ph around 8.2

Is there any reason why it would be doing that?

Light is too bright for it. It will move on its own to find a spot its happy or it will acclimate. Give it some time
