It looks like cyanobacteria, check you nitrates and phosphates and try out something like Chemiclean

I’ve run chemiclean recently, twice in fact, to no effect on the tank. I have unreadable nitrates on a Hannah checker and don’t have anything register on a Red Sea test. I want to say phosphates hang around .1-.2 area. Can confirm when I find my notes.

Definitely check your current numbers. Any quick change to the water chemistry often opens the door for other nuisance algae/bacteria to start taking over, which is, I am guessing, what happened when you started using the GFO.
