So, for clarity, you are adding Kalk? I see that your DOS 4.2 is labeled Kalk. I don't see 4.1 defined. Also, the Alk is, IMHO far too high. I would stabilize your levels first and program the DOS to compensate for swings with 2 part, not Kalk. If you want to still use kalk, do so in your top off at a particular dilution based on levels observed over time. This is a balancing act that should be done SLOWLY over time to let things come to a stable level. Use this calculator to figure a balance of Alk and CA levels. Adjust over time to an appropriate level based on your particular tank's consumption and I think you will find the pH will fall in line.
Forgot the link to the calculator.You correct I am using Kalk , and am not using the 4.1 yet, I will take the kalk off the DOS and dose the Alk and Calcium. thank you for the reply.
