Hello all, I currently have a 20 gal Cube been up for 2 years around and currently only stocked with a helfrichi firefish, yasha goby, and a occ clownfish. looking to see for opinions on a possible 4th fish! I am feeding frozen but nitrate and phosphate could need some raiding so thinking maybe a pinked streaked wrasse don’t know if i’ll pull the trigger but just looking to see what others think

Seems reasonable. A good (rough) rule of thumb is 1 small fish per 5 gallons of water, so 4 fish in a 20gal is entirely viable, assuming their space and territory needs are met. As far as I know, a pink streaked wrasse should be fine there.

If you don't have one already, may I suggest a candycane pistol shrimp? Should be great fun to watch with your goby.

thanks for your suggestions!! They are all 3 pretty small fish, and firefish is luckily the boss of the tank. I’ll keep a lookout for both of them, i’ve been looking for a candy cane pistol for a couple months around d my local LFS but no luck

Here’s a few nano friendly species I’d recommend that I currently keep in my nanos

Eviota Nigriventris (or any of the Eviota Species) you can keep a small group of them they hide in nooks and crannies in your tank and come out to feed. They perch on corals and rock. Super fun and easy keepers!!
Trimma Striatum (again there are several species of these guys and all are similar in care to the Eviota species…super pretty and fun little fish)
Assessors: Randall’s, Yellow, MacNeils (love
Love love these fish!! Super fun, pretty, and very easy going stay small and I’ve had great success keeping them thriving for years. Did I mention they can swim upside down!!)
Pink Streaked Wrasse
Clown Gobies

These are some I don’t currently keep but would also consider
Neon Gobies
Broadstripe Gobies
Sharknose Gobies
Red Headed Gobies
Yellowline Gobies
Possum Wrasse

Hope this helps!
Here’s some pics of one of my Eviota gobies on an acan colony and under my Wilsoni!
