Adding a bar LED to Kessil 360

Hello,

I am trying to reduce some shimmer on my Kessil 360. I am thinking about adding a bar LED light (Either Orphek or Reefbrite). Will this reduce some shimmer effect on my kessil? I like shimmer effect, but Kessil creates way too much shimmer that is hard to look at. People recommended me to add some T5s, but I would like to stick with all LED lights if possible.

I’m running a Fluval sea led on my 55 g with Kessils. The shimmer is still pretty pronounced but I like the shimmer. If you were to turn the Kessils down a bit and run the led bar a little higher it may take some of the shimmer out. Good luck with it

I don't think the led bars will do much to reduce the shimmer of the kessils.
If you can reduce the surface agitation that should help reduce the shimmer.
