I have a established 40g breeder that houses a female maroon clown, large lionfish, med tomini tang and a large snowflake eel. The question is is it possible to add a clarkii clownfish to the tank and the maroon clown get along with it. Maybe it’s way diff color will throw it off and she won’t bother it

How does the lion get along with the clown? I’ve wanted a fuzzy dwarf since I first started looking into keeping a reef tank but I’m not sure if the fish on my list would be safe tank mates

As far as a Clarkii and a maroon, both types are thought to be pretty aggressive however I remember reading about someone having to quarantine the two together in a pinch and they oddly became besties. So I guess you never really know until you try, just be observant

The lionfish doesn’t even look at the clown did eat my chromis when I first added the lionfish.

the maroon is the oldest fish in the tank. She’s around a year old maybe
