Ok, I have a 65 gallon tank. I have a friend getting out of the hobby and willing to sell me 2 ocellaris clowns for 20 bucs. Female is about 3 inches and male a little smaller. Will they be ok because I have 3 damsels in my tank. A 2 strip which is a nasty little fish and 2 similar damsels. They are the blue ones with a yellow tail. Little different than the normal yellowtail damsel. But the 2 strip chases the blues around all day. And the 2 blue sorta chase each other once in a while. I'd so much rather have the clowns. Lol anyone think these clowns I described would stand a chance with the 2 stripe freak. Lol thanks.
Adding a pair of clowns will they be ok????

It should be fine with the clowns, damsels usually have beef with other damsels. Sounds like the clowns are paired so they'll do their own thing and the damsels will probably leave them alone. Cant see they will be nice to each other though.
The clowns been in the same 20 long tank for a year and a half together. So they haven't killed each other yet I'd say there a pair. Lol. I was hoping the 2 strip wouldn't beat they new guys up. He's such a jerk. But my first fish and I could never ever catch him even if I wanted.
Ok, my next question is instead of getting the two clowns, I was thinking of just adding my 3 fish from my 20 long tank in there. A firefish,2.5 inch ocellaris clown and a lawnmower blenny. I'm just worried my damsels would kill my clown and firefish. Not too worried about the blenny. Let me know ur thoughts!!!

I hate damsels.... those are my thoughts. lol
That being said.... there's no guarantee that striped one wont attack anything new to the tank. You can try, but my bet is the blenny and the clowns have the best chance. If it were me, I'd do everything I could to get rid of the damsels and put much friendlier, less psychotic fish in there.

Try feeding with a net, thet can frequently work to catch good eaters. Putting a mirror to the glass can often get aggressive fish in a position where they can be caught.
The 2 stripe damsel will attack any newcomer to the tank.

I would take out the damsels, they are jerks, I have one and he will try to stare down or bluff my pair of snowflakes, but he is much smaller then both my clowns, so they just do whatever. I used to have another damsel, but he killed my newcomers so I evicted him.
