Adding a SPS pack!

So I’m adding 11 SPS frags to my system Tuesday and I need more rock work to place them. I guess that’s a good problem to have so to speak.

So I’m thinking should I add a Tonga branch or a set of stax rocks the 5lbs box.

Where the red circles are is where I want to add the rock.

The top shelf I have already I think I can fit one or two frags but the Montis are starting to get big and I don’t want to cut them to make space.

So witch do u think would look better some Tonga in the tank and with frags mounted on it?

Or make something with the stax rock.

The down side to the stax is I won’t have time to cure it so it will turn brown and all that and I dunno if I want to risk algae in a tank that has none.

Tonga I can buy live but might have [emoji220] [emoji218] [emoji887]

I've never used the Stax rock. If the choice is between cured and uncured and adding new frags I would lean towards cured because you will get a little funk with uncured rock. I also really like Tonga rock. Another option might be to buy one tonga piece to give yourself a few new mounting spots and some more depth, and meanwhile cure some Stax rock in another tank/bucket, then add it in a few weeks. There's no "right" answer here, but I think I would lean towards something already cured.

Thanks I think I’m going to go in that direction for sure my local lfs has Tonga in water ready so I’ll just grab some of that and that will give me time on the stax
