Adding a third fairy wrasse - suggestions please!

WOW. No, that probably would not happen again. How is the Eightline doing? Is the rubripinnis in timeout or did you re-home?

The eightline is doing great and is my baby, the rubripinnis went to a new home. Im used to the initial chasing a nipping but he was out for blood this time, the eightline wouldn't have lasted the day. I got really lucky on that one. I think the fish gods felt they owed me one after all the issues with eightlines.

Mine is the same way, very peaceful. He's always the good one out of the two of mine. It really has me thinking about it though. So I did purchase the Lineatus, I won't be able to pick it up until Sunday. He can start out in my frag tank which is pretty much empty to get started with. It'll give him a little bit of peace to start and also time for me to obtain an acclimation box. After I'm sure he's fine and eating well, I will attempt the acclimation box route. If I notice too much aggression, I can then make a decision on what to do. The worse case scenario is that I have to sell him to a club member. But at least I will have tried and know that I can't, then I can move on to other species to mix and mingle. I'll keep the thread updated.

Terry - I do have plenty of rock and I feed multiple times a day, my fish are all nice and fat.Hopefully that will assist in the addition of this fish as well.

I appreciate everyone's input on this and respect your views and experiences.

Looking forward to hear your experience with this one. Congrats on the lineatus purchase, they are amazing fish.
