Adding an anemone to tank with aggressive coral.

So I thinking about purchasing an anemone in the near future, but I have so pretty aggressive coral in there. I don’t want it to be walking around one night and get hit by every sweeper tentacle it comes across and dies. Will coral stings kill an anemone?

I recommend rock anemones they do not move unless your tank becomes super unstable they are very hardy. If you get 5 they will have higher chance of reproduction. My first set of 5 reproduced already. They do not like moving.

Don't be scared for the anenome. It'll smoke your pectinia if it comes to it.

Bta are known walkers and you are taking a risk. LTA are less prone to going on rampages of fury and leaving destruction in their wakes.

Usually bta’s don’t destroy everything along their path to find a happy place. They occasionally move around but usually don’t hurt other coral. If it finds a happy place and it’s touching a coral over and over, move the coral. Least that’s my experience with mine.

Mines only ever done damage when it stays put in its new happy place. They can be picky btw and move a lot, or stay put. You never know

I say go for it. Bubble tip anemones should not move very much once they find a happy spot and if parameters are good.
