how would you go about adding an anemone to a tank that already has clowns in it? I'm sure the move would be stressful enough for the nem, let alone getting bothered by clowns after getting into the tank.

Depends on the species of the clowns and of the nem. If the anemone is not the natural host for that species of clown it would likely take them several months to go into it, if at all, which would give the nem plenty of time to acclimate.

It took almost a year for my blk occ to host a rose bubble I added after them. And even now they don't stay in it, the female will sleep there every few day but the male sticks to his candy cane coral.

The fish doesn't host; the anemone is the host.
so what exactly do you call what the fish do. I not arguing that technically the Nem is the host organism for the clown, but please explain to me what i should be using terminology wise for what the fish are doing?

The fish are hosting the anemone. It's a symbiotic relationship. The anemone keeps the fish safe and the fish feed the anemone.

O I am aware of this. I was just wondering what the person who tried to correct me was going to say. I was giving feedback from a personal experience i had to the OG poster, in order to shed light on his/her current issue. Then someone have nothing really to say about this point at hand tried to correct my wording.
