Adding another goby to a tank with goby-shrimp pair?

So I already have an Orange Spot Goby that pairs with a Tiger Pistol Shrimp. Would it be a bad idea to add one Yellow Watchman? Any chance they will do "threesome"? My tank is 75g.

From what I’ve heard. Yes. But if you have a 100gallon plus tank it won’t really matter. They’ll be on opposite sides of the tank and possibly never know there in the tank together.

My tank is only 75 gallon. So might reconsider it.

You should see if other people have had luck with this. It could be case by case though.

I’m looking to do almost the exact same thing. Tank footprint is 36” x 18”, and I have an established Randall Goby with Pistol shrimp... looking to add a string sand sifting goby. Did you find any information about some good practices for doing this and/or if it’s a bad idea?

I can confirm that it works for me. My tank is 48in (75gal). The 2 gobies don't care about each other. The goby-shrimp pair is still doing fine.
