Hello fellow reefers,

Currently got a peppermint shrimp in my 15g, his names Peter and my kids love him, problem is he only comes out at feeding time or when the lights are out. I would like to add another shrimp that is a lot more active during the day so the kids can see it more. Could I add another shrimp to this size tank and what would you recommend that is active during the day?

Thanks in advance

Dom

I would recommend a skunk cleaner shrimp. They are actively looking to clean fish during daylight hours and consequently out an about then.

You'll be happy as well. When you introduce the shrimp, drop it away from the peppermint and monitor their behavior together for a while. I've never had any problems with the two together but my system was a bit larger when I had both.
