Hi, would adding a male blue throat trigger cause any issues to my existing female blue throat? My LFS has a slightly larger male and I was thinking about getting him if it would be good for her. But I have no idea if that was cause a problem. I do not want to upset my female at all. I have a 125 gallon. Thx for any input!

I added a second female (was told it was a male) to the tank about 6 months after the first one and no issues. As far as triggers go these are the most peaceful triggers. They are still triggers. Just my experience.

Likely will not cause a problem, it will be hit or miss if they bond as a couple. At worse they may seem a bit indifferent to each other. My female's 1st husband jumped, they bonded in qt when they were both just over 4". I gave her a 2nd husband; they hang and fool around a bit, but not as bonded as husband #1.

Thanks for your input guys! I am not necessarily looking for them to pair up, more for her to possibly have a swimming pal! They are definitely a great fish to have!
