I might be crazy but I want to add extra tanks to my system. I'm wanting to either add two 5 gallons or one 10 gallon plumbed to my 29g with a 20g sump. The original way I was thinking to treating it like it's own system but having my main pump from my sump push water through a 1/4in tubing and have it overflow back to my sump so it would basically act like a constant water change. I'm realizing though that 1/4 tubing will probably clog quick. Should I use 1/2 PVC or stick with my original plan? The tanks will only be a few feet apart so plumbing is not going far.

The reason I want this is to keep things that I can't in my main display because it's a bare bottom. I was thinking of having a walking dendro coral and maybe a twin spot goblin the 10g aux or have the dendro and other inverts in one 5g and use the other 5g as a acclimation/frag/holding separation tank
