Adding baffles post cycling

I am planning on adding baffles to separate the skimmer from the refugium. The tank is currently cycling. Once the cycle is over, would it be ok to stop the pump and take out the sump and add the baffles and let the silicone dry for a day?

If you can keep the water moving and the temperature going up top, along with storing the water in the sump in another container - you could do it right now without any issues. Better to get this done now, and minimally delay your cycle, if at all.

Unfortunately, I don't have a way to keep water circulating. Maybe I'll start process in between cycling.

I can, I have a smaller mag3 pump, should I just leave it on the rocks?
