I hope this is the right forum, I'm sorry if not, just point me in the right direction!
I saw a few posts on adding dry rock but not base rock. I have a 75 G and its been going for about 3-4 months. But I only have about 45 pds of live rock in it currently and want to add more. But I don't want to restart a cycle.

I'm looking at https://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3753+3938+5293+5132&pcatid=5132

Will this be ok to add right away or should I cure it first. Also, does curing basically just mean sitting it in saltwater with a pump for a few days? I've never added rock before so its all new to me :)

Also would it be helpful to add bacteria with the new rock like insta ocean bacteria or something along those lines? Thank you all!!

I would cure it for a week or two in RO/DI with a pump and test the water to see if it is leaching any Phosphate. It is common for that to happen. From there you can determine if it is okay to use or needs further curing. At least you will know.

Some use acid or bleach on the rock first (I used bleach on mine, 2 weeks, then 2 weeks RO/DI with dechlorinator, then further soaking). Power washing or a good scrub will also help.

I would cure your rock first. You can add it in slowly, but curing it before you add it is the best option.
