whats the best way to add bio diversity to an already established reef tank(2 years old) I️ started with dry rock and just added a piece of live rock from wwc but I’ve heard of different products too that can help.
Thanks in advance

What type of biodiversity do you mean? Small critters ? Or micro fauna?

Beneficial bacteria to help breakdown nutrients the kind of stuff you don’t get with dry rock
Ah, got it. Most of the known common nitrifying bacteria are in dr tims one and only.

More wild bacterias and cyano's and micro organisms and corralines I use Walt smiths Fiji Mud

Here is what I did, and now am seeing life in the once - sterile, white, lifeless glass water box.

Got a few samples of macros from liveplants.com, added a ton of pods, put the whole little bucket of Aquaforest mud, (apparently not recommended, but havent had an issue), turned my tiny "refugium" sump chamber into more of a cryptic zone, with sand from display, live rock, etc..

** I do have a marine pure block, but its been in my last 3 tank sumps and is full of sponges and critters.

Got me sone bristle worms, stars etc.
It's now starting to feel like a real ecosystem.
