Morning, my Blue Carpet ( about 12 - 14 inch) is done with QT & want to add to Clownfish Harem tank. Clowns are 1 1/2 to 2 inches in size. Are they still to small?
Thanks

I think that you can add it. Even though they are still small, they should do fine with it.
I agree with this.

Note: If these are captive breed clowns, you may get a fiesty one and the nem could eat it. I have had this happen when one just decides to dive in and they are captive bred. If they approach slowly, nibble on the tents a little and "coax" the nem to allow them to host, they should be just fine at any size. This does not mean you will lose a clown or 2, just that there is a possibility with a haddoni.

Thanks. They are captive bred. I had a couple BTA's that they were enjoying. I told them out when I upgraded tanks to add the carpet. Those BTA's are entertaining clowns in other tanks!

You might lose some, depends on the clowns. Since they are used to other anemones it’s probably lower risk than if they have never seen an anemone before. I lost a couple captive bred clowns to a haddoni.
