Ok I’ll have to try the coral snow. I dedicate about an hr of every water change to hunting and snapping off the snails, but there’s no way to get to the back of the rock or underneath w/out removing it, which I was trying to avoid. Thank u for the coral snow tip though appreciate itI’ve never heard of that. It’s possible though if it eats the small ones as they formed.
In general, as they feed off of dissolved organics, reducing the floaters and keeping an eye on the types of food used it the first step.
A product called Coral snow has also been observed to cut the number of them by starving them.
The way it works is it’s a binder and holds the particles so they can be either skimmed or mechanically removed , thus removing the food source for the vermatids.
Naturally, coral qt, good cleaning of new frags , and manual removal or destruction of them as soon as you find them is best practice.
