How do you properly quarantine a cleaner shrimp? Will they be ok in a tank without fish, until they molt, to ensure they don't carry ich?

Yep, once they molt they are good to go. I put them in my coral qt when it's not quarantining any coral. Usually will molt within a couple weeks.

And you don't worry about feeding them?

Brew , do you really want a cleaner shrimp ... Iv had mine for over 2 years now and I hate it , it's a coral food thief
The amount of times this thing rips food outta the corals is unreal , I end up having to stand guard over them when they are feeding and some take forever to eat

I'v had people say feed him first so I do , big bits of shrimp , he eats as fast as he can than goes after the corals ....... I hate this thing
I chase him with my glass cleaner pole lol
Even when Im not feeding he's all over the corals picking at them and making them close up
If I could go back I'd never of got him
He's also about fully grown and a major pain in the butt 100%
Just waiting on my pistol shrimp getting big enough to shoot him and eat him Evil I know but I hate him lol
