I have a 36g bowfront tank which houses a maroon clown 2-3” which is hosting my nem and is mean. Well he picked on the other maroon clown I had in he tank till I removed it.
The maroon had a tank mate / best friend a yellow tang till a few days ago it started hiding then suddenly died no signs of sickness was a happy fish
Ok the question is would it be a dumb idea to a pair of osmosis clowns. If not clowns maybe a bicolor angel if it wouldn’t eat my corals I’ve had horrible luck with yellow fangs so I give up on them.

I would not recommend adding a pair of clowns to a 36g tank that already has a female maroon clown. You could rehome the maroon and then add the new pair. Good luck!

@Sexytang I personally have experience adding other clows to an established pair, I a pair of Darwin Ocellaris, and added 7 ocellaris (the smallest ones i could find)
Unfortunately 2 passed, they were both the biggest of the bunch, I think they might've been leaning towards going male / female.
Out of the other 5, all 5 are still alive, being kept in check by the big female ocellaris, but not beaten / nipped at, the ocellaris often swim together with my darwins during feeding - here's a video from when I just got them
