I cycled my tank not too long ago and have 2 clowns - the diatoms are starting to show - do I need to wait until it completely clears up, and wait for other 'uglies' to show up and clear itself before adding any corals - such as: Zoas?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Stability is key when you're adding corals and keeping a reef tank. Keep an eye on maintaining consistent parameters & let the tank mature a little bit. Once you have the tank stable, then you can add what you'd like for the most part. Best of luck :)

Submit to your strong urge to add coral but buy one hardy non invasive zoa as your canary in the coalmine. Monitor it's progress for a month and base further stocking decisions on its success or failure. Always move slowly, observing closely.
