Hello,

I have a 75 l nano tank, 7 weeks old now. I cycled the tank with live rock and the tank already has two fishes and few corals in it. I gave away one 3 kg live rock from the tank as it had neometris annulata growing on it. Now I want to add some rock in to the tank and I would also like to make the some reefscaping at the same time. I found this Carib Sea rubble zone, which is bunch of small rubble made from aragonitic calcium carbonate.

Does someone have experience adding this into already cycled tank and what would it require? The tank currently has some 5 kg of live rock in it and I would like to add maybe 1-2 kg of this Carib Sea rubble zone https://caribsea.com/aquarium/ or somethig similar.

Is it enough if I rinse the pieces properly with rodi water or do I need to soak them in saltwater for longer?

Thanks!

Your gonna need to cure the rock then add them. If not the tank is going to cycle again

Even though there is absolutely nothing organic in this rubble that could turn into ammonia?
