Just want to make sure I'm understanding everything correctly. We have an RO drinking water system already installed. The system we're using: https://www.123filter.com/ac/ro-goo...-filter-system-with-alkaline-remineralization

I purchased the BRS DI stage along with the tee, check valve, and ball valve. Do I just need to tee off between the RO and tank in order to install the DI stage? As seen in this video
Thanks

Ok, ran into a snag. When I tee off with the check valve, obviously the water only flows toward the tank. If I'm reading the info correctly on the site, the water flows through the first four stages then into the tank. When we turn on the faucet, it then goes through the last two. What else would I need to get it out of the tank and back into the last two stages for drinking? Though, the DI stage works wonderfully, reading 0 TDS.

I should've took a picture with the DI stage installed. I think I did what you drew out. See the attached image. Sorry for being a noob and thanks for the help.

If the yellow line is the tank line that is the wrong spot. The new tee and check valve need to be before the tee between the 5th stage and tank. The check valve stops the water from draining backwards out of the water tank and through your DI. If you have it on the tank line it will let the tank fill but won't let water flow back the other way. You don't have to have it on if you don't care about having on demand water at the tap (from in the water tank) while making water for your fish tank. Just a heads up you might also want to keep an extra ball valve on hand, because if it starts to wear and leak there might not be enough pressure to engage the stop block and you will have water leaking out the DI line.

No problem. Hope it works well. I saw the pic you posted in other thread, and your tank looks new. You should start a build thread. It is a nice way to to show off your tank, and have a journal of its growth.

Thanks again for the help and suggestion. It's working well, however, noticing a small leak that comes after the check valve. Sort of reduced it by removing that blue locking thing. Would using a longer piece of tubing help to alleviate it?

It might help or it might just need pushed in a little further/re-seated. Worst case is you replace the fitting, shouldn't be more than $4.00.
