Hello!

I want to add a filter sock to my Triton 44 sump, but it's not equipped to manage one. I was thinking about using a clamp in the far left chamber, but I'm not sure what options I have:

There's a small gap I can fit something on, but I'm not very good at DIY. In suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Filter pads after your skimmer before your return can provide some mechanical filtration as well.

I'd like to add to this that I realize I have a Triton method sump, and the reason I want socks is to occasionally clear up the water or when I'm doing a water change.

I have a large roll of filter pad that I cut up and put in that baffle. It works somewhat well, but I'd prefer something I can clean and reuse rather than throw away.

A marineland polishing filter you drop in the sump is another solution for occasional polishing.

You can buy clip on filter socks from BRS and siphon water from the display into the filter socks in the sump to remove detris.

Reef builders had a cool video from Reef-A-Poolza Orlando about a drop in mechanical roller. Ran by hand crank or motor.
