Adding first fish

Cycle is approaching 2 weeks. It’s not fully cycled but once ammonia levels are gone and water change is completed what is best fish to add? I have done clowns in the past but don’t want to risk buying a designer clown and would prefer to do a pair. Don’t care for damsels. Any other hardy options?

Yeah but don’t care for them and catching them if I want them out is a pain in large tank

Not a bad idea. I don’t have lid but I’ll do my research

They do have a strange tendency to just up and disappear... @vetteguy53081 has some great suggestions.
