Ok, I think we are close to full cycle and are getting ready to add fish/corals.
can anyone provide guidance to what levels we should be at before adding fish/corals.

Also, is there a good "starter" soft coral to begin with?

Thanks

You just need to have 0 nitrites, 0 ammonia and low nitrates to add fish and corals. Keep an eye on those as you add stock. Make sure your adding slowly so as not to overwhelm your bacteria levels.

You could start with zoas, mushrooms, duncans, leathers. There are so many options, just be careful to buy corals that you truly love. Dont buy a coral just to have a coral in the tank. It could take over then your hating everything. (example: xenia, green star polyps)

Thanks, is there a good place that I can see if a coral has high potential to take over a tank?
