I have just set up, a 65 gallon tank. Can I add my clowns that I just got? I don't want to risk losing them because they are Blacker Ice's and I adore them.

The tank IS new. The rock cycled in a tote for 3 weeks. I added Dr. Tim's to it in there, and also ghost fed.

Last Thurday or Friday, I put the tank up. Added sand, and my rock to it. The rock did have die off on it. That's why I put it in the tote to run its course.

I have added Seed to this tank every other day until (Wednesday evening was last dose because I was leaving town). I've tossed food in it also randomly!

My parameters are:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite .5
Nitrate 20 ppm
PH 8.1

Am I good to add my clowns, or do I really need to add them to the nanocube. These are private bred clowns by a locally and have never been in contact with corals, live saltwater etc. Only mixed and pellet food and marine pure.

I am just reassuring my self on this. I do have prime if needed.

My other tank will handle them fine, just don't want to move them again if I didn't need to.

I know in the past I had tanks with worse parameters! I just really like this bonded pair!

Thanks!

You can probably add them. I prefer to wait till nitrite is 0 (almost no one does) but you should be fine. If you get worried, you can always add a tiny bottle of bacteria or some prime as a little booster/helper at first.
