Hi guys,

So i just started a 90 gallon tank which recently finished cycling. I have the fish I want to add to the tank in a 30 gallon holding tank. They are the following fish: powder blue tang, 2 occelaris clown fish and 1 maroon. Currently all clown fish are getting along fine in the 30 gallon. Can I just transfer them over to the 90 gallon all at once? Or should I transfer them one by one with a specific amount of time in between? Days? Weeks?

Please let me know. I appreciate your advice.

As long as you acclimate them to the other tank you should be able too and as long as you are sure your cycle is over. Also have you started your water changes yet

I'd take that powder blue back to the store along with the maroon, that powder blue won't have enough room in a 4ft tank and is an inch outbreak waiting to happen. And I'm pretty sure that maroon is waiting til your back is turned to destroy other clowns. Put the NEMOS in your 90 to feed your bacteria and get different fish, JMO

+1!!!

Hi guys thanks for your input. I actually have had these fish in the holding tank for about two months now. Powder blue never showed any signs of ick or amy stress for that matter. When I enter the room he comes to the glass as if he's telling me to give him food. He was never shy or scared. The maroon has been aggressive with the other clowns but after a week or so he didnt bother them anymore, at least not in front of me. Haha maybe hes destroying them behind my back. But what fish would you recommend for the 90 gallon?
