Adding fish to qt post start of treatment

Hi experts.
I have my flame hawk in QT already and added cupramine yesterday.
Now it seems my foxface may have ich as well.
Can I add him to an already treatment started tank and just dose the 2nd dose at 48 hours as per bottle?

I would add Foxface to the treatment tank and add 2nd dose slowly over time

Yes you could it would be like you just added the first dose to him.

Yes you can. Is the fox face in your display currently? If so, you need to remove all fish and run it fallow for 76 days to starve out the parasite, otherwise you just reintroduce the fish to the parasite when you add them back to your display after copper treatment.

Would be ideal but my qt tank is not big enough for all fish

get dividers. I successful housed 5 fish in 20 gallon QT no issues, no ammonia spikes, no aggression.

Tank has been lit a few hours now. The fox face looks better. Am wondering if it got stuck by the long spine urchin. Only has one small spot

He's in the qt now. Took some catching.
Removed large section of rock. Stressed him out. Poor thing

Yes I know it's very stressful. I personally learned the hard way myself. I had an ich outbreak and pulled all my fish went through 76 day QT and placed them back. Two weeks later I saw ich pop up again, I couldn't believe it. Come to find out my QT needed to be a minimum of 10 feet away from my display. I didn't realize that some parasites can travel airborne and recontaminate that way. Anyways, I had to run fallow again, I went 12 weeks to be safe. In total 6 months of dealing with this issue. I learned so much through the process and have become a QT master.
