Hello,

I am looking for recommendations on either powerheads or a closed loop pump to add some flow to my tank. I want to add about 1,600 gph of flow - it's a 60 gallon tank that will house cuttlefish, so I am aiming for 2,000 gph of flow. My return pump will likely be a Mag 7, at my height I can expect 400 gph of flow.

I do not want a lot of equipment in the tank. It's a display that a lot of people will see, so I was thinking about a closed loop. I could potentially just add a pair of Mag 7 or Mag 9.5 pumps at the water level, and a pair of loc-lines on each right below the surface.

What would the cheapest way to do this be, where I can still hide equipment?
Thanks,
Drew

I love my Maxspect Gyre xf230. If you really turned it up it can do up to 2,300 gph. Total customization of flow strength and patterns.
