so I’m looking for some advice on how I should rearrange my 180g sump so I can incorporate a Frag rack into it. I also have some large colonies I want to set on the live rock. My plan was to hang a black box over the fuge area, move some of the live rock into the skimmer area so I have a single layer in the bottom of the fuge. Also moving the carbon/gfo to the skinmer compartment. Then get some egg crate and put along the whole back wall of the fuge( about 20-24”). The front area would be where i have colonies on the rock on the bottom. One thing I can’t figure out is how to contain my caulerpa from getting in the Frag rack and colony area.

I would be extremely careful with that Caulerpa. Once it attaches to a substrate (rock, or frag) it is almost impossible to remove it. It seems like it could easily get into your DT if you move frags or rocks from the sump into the main tank.

Thanks I have actually thrown small handfuls in my display before. My tangs eat ever speck of it. It occasionally gets sucked through the return pump too
