I'm trying to figure out the best way to add in filter socks, or modify my sump to have them. I'm not opposed to some building and DIY at all.

The easiest route I think so far would be to remove the two 90 degrees from my drain pipe build a sock holder and have it flow into a sock (or two?) right there?

I'm open to any suggestions. Right now I just shove a sock into the bubble trap thing so that its under the pipe but its dumb looking, hard to get in there and just weird lol.

If I cant thing of a good think I may just build a whole new sump over the winter for this.

They sell brackets to hold filter socks. I have at least one new 7" sock holder around as well as a used one i think.. I would love to find a new home for either or both.

They make holders, or you could cut a hole in a piece of acrylic and glue it on.

I've seen the holders although they look like they attach oddly so I might just work on cutting the acrylic and making my own double sock holder above it all.

Make something like this.
