I was just wondering how I should go about adding a peace of live rock that I picked up from the pet store today. It will be going into a 29 gallon tank that already as 3 larger pieces of live rock in it that have been growing corals on them for two years now.

I don't see a problem with it myself. Sometimes more is better. Myself I have coral skeletons that were sold as live rock in my tank I plan on replacing that with real live rock ( much easier to place corals rather than the spines everywhere) soon

As long as you know it is 100% cured and there will be no die off. Any die off and you can get an ammonia spike.

+1 not to mention if any fish had been in the same system as the rock from the store you have the possibility of infecting your fish with something nasty. IE: Velvet,Ich,parasites,etc.....

I have become really good friends with one of the guys that works at the store I get all my corals and rock from and he said it should be fine to add just that one peace. There are no fish in the tank where I got the Rock from so I think it will be ok. Also it says that all there rock is cured.
