I want to add some Lyretail Anthias to my tank. Its a 125g tank. 72" x 18" x 18" with ample rock work.
Current livestock:
2 Clowns
1 Yellow Tang
1 Blue Tang
1 Tomoni Tang
1 Foxface
2 Wrasses
1 Goby
1 Hawkfish

I was wanting to have 5-6 Lyretail Anthias to avoide any agression because I will only be feeding 2 times a day. Do you think that is too much for my size of a tank? Any info would help!

I would think the tank is fine however I think maybe they would need more feed times at 1st at least. i'm interested to hear what those in the know know.

Make sure you only get one male. I guess two feedings would be OK but they are super active and need to eat often. You could try an automatic feeder but sometimes those overfeed.

I have an auto feeder I can set back up. I stopped using it because the spike in PO4.

I would make sure there would only be one male in the lot.
So would 6 fish be ok in my size of tank??? My QT system is 20 gallons as well. I could set up a 40 gallon tank just to QT this large group of fish....

6 fish should be ok as long as you have good biological filtration.
You could go with 4 just so that you won't have to feed as much of you are worried about a spike in PO4
