Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. And believe me I value all of you guys’ opinions. We started with old base rock I had in storage 160lbs of “live sand”. We set up how we (the wife) wanted the aquascape, moved the rock inside and again, that's perfect. I'm talking about 100 lbs. of rocks, now that the tank been cycled, we adding fish. Well, I am told now "we" need add more rock. The CEO of the household picked about 4 pcs. around 8" to 10” across. my plan for this weekend is to do a water change (of about 60 gallons) save some old water, add more freshly made water in a Brute container, with a pump. Let it go for few weeks and add one piece a week. Now the question is; should I use 2 part epoxy like to do coral plugs or E-Marco cement that I use originally? I do not want to create too much chaos in the tank. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

For a running tank with fish, inverts, corals, I like JB WaterWeld.

Application: Rock + Superglue Gel + JB + Superglue Gel + Rock

Thank you both for your input, in two or three weeks and I will start placing them in the tank.

I prefer to stack rock when possible, cementing everything together really ties your hands down the road if/when there is a problem. Be it encrusted rock that needs to go, fishing for a fish that needs to go, etc. It takes very little to regret making your aquascape a sold mass.

Thank you for you input. I did ended up using epoxy. I dont have a huge rock l It just holding the pieces in there .I di goy some alge grow but the foxface was in haven. Again Thank you for your input
