Hi Everyone,
My tank is around 3 months old. I am experiencing my second Diatom bloom but this time there is a significant amount of hair algae starting to grow as well. My original CUC i put in my 13.5 Fluval Evo tank was:
1-Trochus Snail
2- Astrea Snails
2- Nassarius Snails.
This time around I find my snails unlike the first bloom, my snails are not eating and carving through the algae (Diatom or hair)
I am thinking of adding some new CUC to hopefully help get it under control. Would it be too much to add the following:
2-3- Dwarf blue leg hermits
2- Trochus Snails
Any advice or comments is greatly appreciated. I don't want to over clutter my aquarium. I also have 1 Clownfish at the moment in my tank
