I just cycled a month ago my new reef tank with Dry Rock and bacteria.

Currently have 4 Chromis 1 Yellow Tang
Some crabs and snails...

Will it be risky if I add more dry rock ? Because I just finished another structure for the aqua scape.

I do it all the time. I have some pukani that I've already cleaned and soaked in acid in my shed, when I feel like changing my scape or adding more caves, I'll grab some and throw it in the tank.

I agree; but it is best to add dry rock slowly so bacteria levels can adjust. In a 75 gal tank (for example), I'd only add 2 or 3 medium sizes pieces every couple of weeks.

+1 for the above. If its an awesome thing though and you cant cycle it in a bucket for a bit, put er in, worst case I think, youll get a little mini ugly phase. prob not though.

Planning on adding this to a 73 gal display 90gal total volume tank is this considered medium ? [emoji85]

Yep, I have done it with Marco dry rock many times. I have never noticed any changes in the tank.

In the background, it doesn't look like you have much LR in your tank right now. So, go slow ... a couple of pieces and then add 2 more in a couple of weeks.

Yeah I just set up the tank, this is probably the last piece I'm adding unless I get another idea..

I recently added about 50lbs of the dry reefcleaners Florida reef rock to my established tank and the only thing I'll note is I did have an diatom bloom that I'm about 5-6 weeks into. I didn't see any increase in nitrates or phosphates so I'm guessing it was silicates in the rock. Just don't freak out if you see a bloom.
