I have a 72" 150 gal with an eshopps sump, been up since about february. I upgraded from my 95 gal.
Moved my Majestic angel over from the old tank. I had an emperor angel (juvi) that i had for almost a year in the 95 but he died in the QT fighting something, wasnt sure what it was... He was all faded and lasted a few weeks in there but didnt make
I have 2 wyoming white clowns and 1 baby hippo tang who is growing great. started from a dime size now about a quarter.
I have some LPS in the tank, 3 Goni.
branching hammer, frogspawn, and a sun coral.
Also 3 clams in the tank, 2 maxima 1 crocea
Anyway...
I found a good place to order things from, really great prices. I am placing my 2nd order with him, the first was for the clams and few corals listed above. Those have been doing great.
I am ready to add some more fish to the tank now, it looks so empty with just 1 fish that has size to her and she is only about 3.5 inches.
I am ordering 2 more sets of clowns, 2 black ocellaris, 2 gold stripe maroons.
also ordering a medium gold rim aka white cheek tang.
I was thinking about added a small adult blue face angel to the order as well. I know I run the risk with an angel, but my majestic is quite behaved.
She and the emperor were the best of friends and were always together.
They never bothered the clams at all, and I have never seen her nip at any corals in the tank. The emperor used to follow her around all the time and the way i see it, if one behaves and is the boss of the tank the others follow. ( I hope thats the way it stays )

Anyway my question, what do you think about introducing all these fish at same time?
As far as fish, its really like i only have the Majestic in the tank... The clowns and tang stay on the left side of the tank in 1 corner all the time. even if their food floats away they do not follow. Its like the only fish in the tank is the angel, she is the only one who swims all over... So theoretically i will be adding 2 more fish to swim around. I suspect the clowns i add will host on a spot and stay there as well.

Thoughts??

In time, I see the maroon pair becoming a spawning pair, and them taking out the other pairs --- I, personally, would stick with just one pair.

What makes you think that the clowns you add will host on the spot?

IME, blue face angels can be a bit on the shy side, seeing the emp causing some issues for it in time.

I already have a pair of Wyoming whites that never ever leave the corner they are in.
I am adding a pair of maroons and a pair of black ocellaris. With all the space in the tank I am hoping if they post up in a spot they dont want to leave that it is spread out.
As for the angel, i dont have the emp anymore, he didnt make it out of the qt. i had him for at least 8 months but he stopped eating and fading in color. wasnt really sure what to treat with and tried a few things. Anyway i only have a Majestic angel now. She is already shy, but when she was paired with the Emp they were both out all the time. I am hoping by adding the blue face they will be friends and hang out together.
