Hi all
I have a 20 galling long with
2 clowns
1 yellow watchman
1 fang blenny
I want to add more. I have strong filtration. Which colorful fish do y’all recommend? I was thinking royal gramma and a damsel or wrasse of some sort?? Or should I remove one of my existing for another?
Would love all advice and input. Thank you!

I am a huge fan of Royal Grammas and Yellowtail damsels. I would add those two and call it a day.

I would not recommend a damsel since you already have the clowns.

The clowns are extremely peaceful but I am worried about a yellowtail or other damsels. Worried they may nip but what others you guys think?
I had a yellowtail, it was a perfect citizen. Granted it was in a much bigger system, but he just staked his territory and didn't bother anyone. They are one of the more peaceful damsels.

My thoughts was that a 20 gallon might be too small for such a similar fish to the clowns...

Thanks guys so much. If not gramma plus damsel what other fish would you recommend? What about sixine? Or any others?

I love sixlines, but once you add him, it's his tank. Any additions after it are in line for termination with extreme prejudice.

Makes sense. This would be my last add to the tank cause im pretty sure Im pushing it. My only concern is my blenny is big and he likes to free swim.
The LR would only be occupied by the gramma and blenny tho so it might work?

I agree with BOYERZ. Four fish in a 20g is the magic number. Add a fifth fish and there is a high risk that 1 of the 5 will become a victim of the overcrowding.
If you want more fish, I would respectfully suggest you upgrade to a bigger tank like a 75g. Or buy a 2nd smaller tank.
