Hi Everyone,

So my tank has been cycled for roughly 3 months. I had a clownfish and then I added a YWM goby into the tank. The YWM goby died within a week and then it killed off my clownfish. I now currently do not have any fish in my tank. I do not have any corals either. i only have about 20 snails and two hermit crabs. I have posted my water parameteres as well as brought my waster to get tested at my LFS and everything came back excellent. Moving forward. I would like to add a pair of clowns. and get them from the same place and from the same tank. When should I add my next set of fish into the tank. I don't want to add fish to soon. What are some suggestions on how long I should wait? Should I add some corals first? Thanks for your feedback!

If you don't know what killed them, and you don't want to tear down and start over, I think a fallow period is your safest bet. Currently the longest period to go fallow to eliminate all disease/parasites (the ones that require a fish to host anyway) is 76 days.

You'll need to keep feeding inverts, corals and the bacteria though. :)
