Adding more light

Have 10g with par38 36w full spec bulb for day and use a par20 9w moon bulb for night.

Question is, could I use then both together in the day? So total would be 45w over a 10gallon 18", 12", 12"
Or would it be too much?

You can run them both. Wouldn't be too much light at all.

Should I start by putting the 9w led on for a few hours a day or would it be ok to just put them both on all day?
