Adding MORE rock

Hi,

I need to get more rock for my Aquascape. I started with all live rock besides 3 out of the 15 pounds I got which were dry. Can I add dry rock to a “live Aquascape” to save some money or am I going to have to get live rock.

Of course, as long as it is dry and clean rock, if it was once alive it must be cleaned and if it is made by man, only a rinsing in rodi will suffice.

As long as it's clean.... do what works for you. It will all be "live" eventually. It's kind of a subjective term. The "real live rock" is on the bottom of an ocean. The stuff in most tanks is just dry, "dead" rock waiting to host bacteria and organisms.
