If you're going fallow because of fish diseases (ich), then yes, you can add corals. Corals should not be affected by any fish diseases.

Yes it's due to disease from fish. Do I need to QT corals for any other reason?

Some folks do, but most do not. Unless you have reason to suspect a colony is sick, you can just acclimate and go to town.
