Adding New Fish

Quick question for my fellow aquarists keeping semi aggressive/ aggressive fish. Do you guys feed the fish already in the tank just before you add new ones? Will a full belly entice them to ignore the new guys so it’s easier for them to get comfortable?

Quick question for my fellow aquarists keeping semi aggressive/ aggressive fish. Do you guys feed the fish already in the tank just before you add new ones? Will a full belly entice them to ignore the new guys so it’s easier for them to get comfortable?

I actually feed my tank while I am adding any new fish....aggressive or not. Takes the focus off of the new fish and places it on everybody grabbing food.
