Hello all! Currently running a Waterbox Peninsula Mini 15 gallon. It is about 3 months old, no big issues except for diatoms. Unfortunately I rushed my aquascape in the beginning (kicking myself)… My question is, how much would it screw my tank up if I built a new aquascape with CaribSea LifeRock?
I would be essentially replacing all my rock but it’s still somewhat new.
Thanks for the input!

Is the rock you plan on replacing live rock? If so I assume replacing it would take a big chunk of your bio filter. That said depending on your stocking it might not matter too much. You could also add your current rock to the new scape.

I guess it depends on what your rocks look like and what scape you’re going for. But you could do what I did when I glued my most recent frag‘s. I took out the entire rock I planned to glue them to, lightly dried the areas, and then applied super glue outside of the tank and let it dry up just enough before putting it back in. I assume much of the bacteria living inside the rock would be unaffected if the rock was out of the tank but remain damp. I assume the bacteria could live quite some time like this.

The rock that I am replacing is the same thing, it’s all CaribSea LifeRock! I’m just kicking myself because I want an entirely different look for my aquascape but do not want to go backwards in the process

Seeing as the tank is new I am assuming there is little to no livestock?

I wouldn't worry to much about it and redo the scape. Better to do it now than down the road when more livestock and coral could complicate the situation.

Would just buy more life rock, work out what you want and how to utilize existing rock, then glue all the dry stuff first and then take out the wet rock and glue it last. . . hopefully you will preserve some of the bacteria that has started growing.
