My skimmer is making a load noise so I replaced it. Since skimmer takes a break in how should I approach this, would break in make tank dirty as no skimate ks being pulled.

PS I did all I could do with the skimmer, vinegar bath, tweezrs n cleaning every speck.

It’s going to be the same as if you had no skimmer

How should I approach this ?
Should I somehow run my old skimmer? If so, I have a aio how should I do this

Is there a way to speed up this process?

You can Just break in the skimmer

I have heard (although have not actually tried) that washing your new skimmer parts in hot water and scrubbing off the mold release agents and manufacturing oils will quicken the break in process. Be careful of what you use to scrub it as most scrub pads from a grocery store will contain soaps.
