Ok so kinda got hooked on wrasses, started with a Lubbock then added an African male exquisite. Can I add a flasher wrasse to make a trio ?? Any insight would be great.

What size is your tank? Both of your current wrasses are on the less aggressive side. So I would say yes you could add another flasher/fairy wrasse if your tank is the right size.

Sorry forgot to mention they are in a 150 gal tank.

You should have plenty of room to add several more wrasses. Where there any in particular you were considering adding?
I don't know most by name, but I like the orange back wrasse, saw one at the LFS called blue throat eraser and would love a magma wrasse , any suggestions you can pass my way would be great

Thanks for the advice, I don't want to get to crazy as I have a few fish in the tank already
3 clowns
1 Sohal tang
1 black cap basslets
1 strawberry dottyback
1 flame Angel
How is the temperament of the Dottyback? That tank mate should be really your only concern. Since most dottybacks can be jerks.

Here’s a rough draft of my 120g stock list (I’ve acquired the fish that have a hyphen- in front of it) very wrasse oriented.. hope this gives you a few ideas.

Is this the blue throat wrasse you are talking about? I thought those were in the same complex as C. filamentosus complex which is one the most aggressive of fairy wrasses.

Those would all work.

The blue throat is more like a rubripinnis than a filamentosus.
