Adding pods

I’m going to add pods to my refugium. Should I remove my filter sock? Not sure if they will be trapped. I was thinking maybe take the socks out temporarily to give the pods time to get established.

Turn off your pumps for 20 minutes and add your pods at night. Should give enough time for them to settle in. It's inevitable to lose pods to the filter sock, but the amount is minuscule compared to those established in your refugium.

Usually I take mine off for a couple days after I add pods that way I have some in tank and sump usually don't get mine in my socks after that
